Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Division of Nephrology seeks a fellowship-trained transplant nephrologist to join six full-time transplant nephrologists and support its growing multi-organ transplant programs in Columbus, Ohio.

The nephrology division offers comprehensive CKD and transplant care, extensive consultative nephrology, and active basic science, translational, and clinical research with education for medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• Transplant nephrology fellowship completed.
• Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine.
• Eligible for a State of Ohio medical license.
• Academic appointment at assistant or associate professor level – rank and salary commensurate with training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nephrology care for a large CKD population and transplant patients.
• Deliver transplant nephrology services within the Division of Nephrology and support multi-organ transplant programs.
• Contribute to teaching of medical students, house officers, and fellows and participate in research.
• Engage in academic activities and collaborate across The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
