HCA Florida Largo Hospital is expanding its Florida Liver Transplant Program and seeking a full-time Medical Transplant Hepatologist to join our growing transplant center in Largo, FL. The candidate will work with a dedicated team to advance liver disease management and transplant services, including living donor liver transplantation.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
• Transplant experience required.
• Excellent communication and ability to foster referring physician relationships.
• Collaborative environment with a friendly, supportive group of physicians.
• Expertise in liver disease management and transplant services including living donor transplant.

Responsibilities

• Join a full-time hepatologist, a full-time transplant hepatologist APP, and a PRN transplant hepatologist.
• Foster relationships with referring physicians in a collaborative environment.
• Provide expertise in liver disease management, transplant services, including living donor liver transplant.
• Participate in teaching, clinical research, mentorship, leadership, and community service.

Job Summary:

We are actively seeking a full-time Medical Transplant Hepatologist to join our fast-growing HCA Largo Transplant Center providing opportunity to live and work within 10 min from best beaches in the country.

• Candidate should be board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
• Transplant experience is required
• Join a full-time hepatologist, a full-time transplant hepatologist APP, and a PRN transplant hepatologist
• Excellent communications skills required, be good at fostering relationships with referring physicians and should enjoy a collaborative environment with a friendly, supportive group of physicians
• Expertise in all aspects of liver disease management, transplant services and procedures including living donor liver transplant and comprehensive cancer care
