Job summary

University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville seeks a board-certified Transplant and Cellular Therapy physician to join a FACT-accredited program and lead a multidisciplinary team in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and advanced cellular therapies, including CAR T-cell therapy.

Qualifications

• minimum of two years experience as an attending physician responsible for the direct clinical management of hematopoietic cell transplant patients throughout the continuum of care.
• training and competency in the management of autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and immune effector cell/cellular therapies
• Ability to meet FACT requirements for ongoing education minimum of 10 hours annually of continuing education related to hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or cellular therapy and annual competency assessment in hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy
• Experience with, or demonstrated ability to provide leadership and oversight of, clinical operations, quality management, regulatory/accreditation requirements, and multidisciplinary transplant and cellular therapy care.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant and advanced cellular therapies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with experienced transplant and cellular therapy colleagues and participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and research infrastructure.
• Maintain FACT accreditation standards and ensure ongoing education and competency in transplantation and cellular therapy.
• Provide leadership in clinical operations, quality management, and regulatory compliance within the program.
