Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville seeks an experienced registered nurse to coordinate and support transplant patient care across ambulatory and inpatient settings.

You will assess patient status, implement nursing interventions per protocols, and collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes. Eligible applicants hold an RN license in Florida, a BSN, and at least 3 years of medical/surgical experience with transplant exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited four-year baccalaureate nursing program.
• ASN candidates in process of obtaining BSN may be considered; master's or related field preferred.
• Current license as a registered nurse (RN).
• Minimum three years nursing experience; transplant or critical care experience preferred; knowledge in transplant immunology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure continuity of patient care for transplant patients in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Assist with chronic disease management in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess patient data and respond to treatment protocols per established plans.
