UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a transplant coordination assistant to organize pre- and post-transplant clinical and administrative tasks. You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, request medical records, and communicate with patients to keep the process smooth and timely.
You will escalate patient issues to the transplant team as needed, ensuring a seamless patient experience within Alabama's largest health system known for world-class care and education.
Pay range: $17.10 - $27.80 / hour

To partner with the clinical transplant coordinator team to organize pre and post transplant clinical and administrative support including, but not limited to, scheduling, verification of insurance, requesting medical records, and patient communications necessary to ensure a smooth, timely process for patients both pre and post transplant. Coordinates the escalation of patient issues and concerns to the transplant team.
High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of related experience required.
