Job summary

Faulkner Automotive Group in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an enthusiastic Transmission Technician/Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair GM transmissions. You will work in a well-equipped shop with trained peers, using diagnostic tools to identify issues and perform timely maintenance and repairs.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, PA state and emissions license, ASE preferred, and 3+ years of transmission experience. We offer training, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and PA State emissions license.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair vehicles, using diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Perform safety inspections, basic maintenance, oil changes, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Repair GM vehicle transmissions in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills

Valid Driver's License

PA State and Emissions License

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, it is your job to inspect, maintain and repair vehicles in a timely, efficient manner. Service Technicians use diagnostic tools to identify the source of the problems and then make the necessary adjustments or repairs. Tasks will also include performing safety inspections, basic maintenance, oil changes, lubrication, and minor repairs.
