Job summary

A regional electric utility provider is seeking a Transmission System Operations Manager in Hughesville, MD. Job Title: Transmission System Operations Manager
Location: Hughesville, MD 20637
Type: Full Time/Employee

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NERC standards and fulfillment of the Transmission Owner responsibilities in the PJM RTO.
• Authorize all field switching activities.
• Organize all personnel development.
• Develop and maintain divisional procedures.
• Manage the operation and utilization of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA), the Energy Management System (EMS) and the Integrated Tools for Operations application (iTOA).

Qualifications

• Four‑year college degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in math, statistics, basic electricity, and specialized training in electric utility operation and maintenance.
• Computer courses preferred.
• Must be NERC and PJM Certified.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in operation, construction, and maintenance of electric utility systems with emphasis in a Control Center environment.
• Supervisory, administrative, and SCADA experience required.

The starting salary range for this position is $103,100 - $138,800.
