Job summary

Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is seeking a Transmission Engineer in Wichita, Great Bend, or Garden City, KS, in our Transmission Engineering department. The role may be titled Substation Physical Design Engineer or Substation Electrical P&C Design Engineer.

You will design substations and switching stations and assist with system protection functions, contributing to reliable, cost-effective electric infrastructure.

Sunflower, a generation and transmission cooperative, has an opening in the Transmission Engineering department (Substation Physical Design Engineer or Substation Electrical P&C Design Engineer) in Wichita, Great Bend, or Garden City, KS. As the successful candidate, you will get to use your creativity to help design substations and switching stations while also assisting with system protection functions.
