Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an experienced Transmission & Structural Project Manager to drive delivery of complex electric distribution projects in a remote-capable role. You will lead scheduling, budgeting, and client communications while coordinating engineers, drafters, and designers across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in electric distribution engineering and 4–5 years in project management, with a PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in electric distribution engineering.
• 4–5 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; PMP certification a plus.
• Experience with major Investor-Owned Utilities in the United States.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, CYME, or similar distribution modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, NEC, and utility design standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor engineering design activities.
• Coordinate with the client and project team to ensure progress.

• Draft proposals for new work and create change orders.
