Job summary

K&A Power Group in Charlotte NC, Greensboro NC, or Greenville SC seeks a Consultant Project Manager to lead transmission land acquisition and related projects for power utility clients across North America.

You will coordinate across Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, Environmental Services, Permitting, Legal, Public Engagement, Finance, and Project Controls to deliver schedules, risk management, and budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 7+ years of project management experience in electric transmission or related fields.
• Experience with land acquisition, easements, and right-of-way is desirable.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple transmission land and site acquisition projects concurrently.
• Coordinate between Real Estate, Survey, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, risk registers, and budgets.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and report status to leadership.
• Lead meetings, governance, and reporting for projects.
