HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager in our Power Delivery practice based in Portland, ME. You will lead the technical execution of high-voltage transmission projects, mentor engineers, and coordinate with the Project Manager to align scope, schedule, and budget.
This role requires 10+ years of transmission experience, a Civil Engineering background, and proficiency with PLS-CADD. You will support QA/QC, develop technical papers, and help advance HDR’s employee-owned culture

As a Transmission Line Engineering Manager in a well-established Power Delivery practice, you'll draw upon your broad technical knowledge and experience in design and construction of high voltage Transmission Line projects to lead, guide, and advise clients, projects, and teams. Having previously performed a leading technical role on increasingly complex transmission line projects, you'll be ready to undertake greater challenges and responsibilities. You will develop a partnership with the Project Manager (PM), whereas the PM is responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and overall client management; you will be responsible for technical execution of the project.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
