Actalent is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer for a fully remote role with base of operations in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will perform engineering design and project leadership for transmission lines up to 765 kV, collaborating with in-house and client engineers and overseeing a small team.
Qualifications include ABET-accredited Bachelor's (required) and a Masters (count toward experience). PLS-CADD proficiency is preferred. Travel for site visits is occasional.
This position falls within the Transmission Line Engineering Department of our organization. The successful engineer will complete projects that support our large utility customer, with minimal direction. The engineer will work with in-house and client engineers, and graphics technicians. The Lead Engineer will oversee a small department of Transmission Line Engineers and will also coordinate and conduct training to lower-level engineers.
This is a Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
