Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join their team. This role involves detailed engineering for transmission line projects ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV, supporting projects from conceptual design to construction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of experience in high-voltage transmission line design.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Five or more years of experience in design of high-voltage transmission lines.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical data for foundation design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing specifications and calculations for construction tenders.
• Coordinate design engineers to ensure successful project execution.
• Write and edit technical reports and engineering studies.

Modeling transmission lines in the PLS suite

Interpersonal and communication skills
