Xcel Energy is seeking a student intern for the Transmission Engineering Services group in Denver, CO. You will support data completeness, quality assurance of substation and transmission design packages, and document control using ProjectWise.
The role requires full-time summer availability (up to 40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) with in-person attendance as per our hybrid policy. May 31, 2027 start date; potential extension based on performance.

Seeking candidates to support the Transmission Engineering Services group in Denver, CO. This position will work closely with field crews, Facility Ratings Engineers, designers, and the Data Governance team to ensure data is complete, accurate, and compliant. The role also includes providing document control support and quality assurance of substation and transmission design packages.
This position is for a May 31, 2027 start date. This position may have the possibility to extend beyond the internship’s initial term based on the candidate’s successful performance and Xcel Energy’s business needs.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $21.20 to $23.10 per hour
