Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transmission CADD Technician I in Billings, MT. You will perform drafting tasks under supervision, create drawings and layouts using CAD software, and support engineering deliverables in a collaborative, employee‑owned environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables

Responsibilities

• Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
