Job summary

Adams Industries in Sidney, Nebraska, is seeking a Transload Specialist to support the safe and efficient transloading of commodities between railcars, trucks, and ground storage. This role requires strict safety adherence and clear communication with equipment operators and team members in a physically demanding, dynamic environment.

You will coordinate with operators to load/unload trucks and transload from railcars to storage, assist in rail movement, and help maintain a clean, safe workplace

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to consistently lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs infrequently.
• Work varying shifts and weekends.
• Ability to work in extreme and unpredictable weather conditions.
• Work effectively with management, peers, subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Safely assists in transloading processes and coordinates with operators to load/unload trucks.
• Coordinate with equipment operator to safely transload commodities from railcar to ground storage.
• Rail movement assistance: support railcar movement and placement as directed.
• Team support and assist other crews with special projects or assignments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Uphold and promote company vision and safety culture.
• Maintain clear and prompt communication with supervisors regarding issues or concerns.
• Take corrective action or propose alternative solutions as appropriate.
• Perform all duties effectively and in accordance with company policies.
