Job Description Summary

Job Responsibilities

Searching for an applicant interested in the development andexecution of innovative translational research programs focused onLong COVID, complex fatiguing and post-viral syndromes, and humanimmunology. This position will serve as a bridge between clinicalresearch, patient-facing studies, and laboratory-based scientificinvestigations.

The successful candidate will manage clinical research studies andclinical trials, including participant recruitment, studyimplementation, sample collection, and data management. Theindividual will work closely with physicians, scientists, researchcoordinators, and laboratory personnel to establish and maintainpatient cohorts, facilitate biospecimen collection and processing,and support collaborations across multiple research teams. Theindividual will also manage and supervise Clinical ResearchCoordinators supporting these studies and provide oversight ofday-to-day research operations.

Responsibilities include managing clinical trials, assisting theprincipal investigator(s) with IRB and regulatory processes,developing study protocols, maintaining research databases,supporting participant visits, coordinating biospecimen collectionand storage, and facilitating communication between clinical andlaboratory teams. The position offers opportunities to contributeto scientific publications, developing and executing immuneanalyses, and the design of novel translational researchinitiatives. The individual will identify and pursue new grantopportunities and help develop new research collaborations andprojects.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience acrossthe full spectrum of translational research, from patient care andclinical trial operations to biomarker discovery and immuneprofiling, while working within a collaborative multidisciplinaryresearch environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in biology, immunology, clinicalresearch, neuroscience, public health, or a related field.


• Experience managing clinical research studies or clinicaltrials.


• Experience working with human biospecimens and clinicalresearch databases (e.g., REDCap).
