Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and disseminate evidence-based interventions for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Implement and scale treatments in real-world settings.
• Incorporate health equity, ethics, and public health engagement.
• Lead transdisciplinary responses to overdose crises.
• Investigate transdiagnostic etiological mechanisms.
• Advance novel mental health and substance use treatment approaches.
• Apply precision medicine or data-driven methods to improve prevention and treatment outcomes.
