Qualifications

• MD or PhD or equivalent degree.
• Experience in translational neuroscience research and neuroimaging.
• Design and perform experiments involving in vivo optical imaging, electrophysiology, and behavior.
• Mentor students and research staff.
• Collaborate across psychiatry, neurology, neuroscience, engineering, and neuroimaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct translational neuroscience research focused on mechanisms of ECT and neuromodulation.
• Design and perform experiments involving in vivo optical imaging, electrophysiology, and behavioral phenotyping.
• Contribute to development and implementation of clinical translational research protocols related to ECT and other neuromodulation interventions.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data; prepare manuscripts and presentations.
• Assist with mentorship and training of students and research staff; participate in interdisciplinary research activities.
