The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. The appointment will be initially for one year and renewal is contingent on performance and funding. Applicants should have a Ph.D.

and/or M.D. and expertise in human genetics, developmental genetics, epigenetics, functional genomics, or computational genomics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. degree required.
• Expertise in human genetics, developmental genetics, epigenetics, functional genomics, or computational genomics.
• Experience designing genetic experiments and preparing manuscripts.

Responsibilities

• Design and carry out genetic experiments.
• Prepare manuscripts and supervise students.
• Mentorship in grant writing may be available.
