Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the University of Washington are jointly recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Translational Science & Therapeutics Division of Fred Hutch and the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP), UW School of Medicine.

The position prioritizes hematopathology, molecular pathology, and translational research, with on-site duties and potential leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and board eligibility/certification in anatomic pathology/clinical pathology (or foreign equivalent).
• Fellowship training in hematopathology and molecular pathology is required (or equivalent experience).
• Eligible for licensure in Washington and UW School of Medicine faculty appointment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical service and academic pursuits in hematopathology/ molecular pathology.
• Potential leadership role as medical director of a laboratory location.
• Teach and deliver lectures to providers and the medical community.
