Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking a faculty scientist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to advance brain tumor research within the CBDI. The successful candidate will build an independent, translational program bridging basic discovery with therapeutic development in brain tumors and related CNS malignancies.

Qualifications

PhD degree in a related scientific or research field.
3+ years related experience in research field and/or lab experience assisting with the preparation of data for presentation at scientific meetings.
Physician-scientists may combine an independent laboratory program with clinical activities.

Responsibilities

Establish or expand an independent, nationally recognized research program that combines fundamental discovery with therapeutic translation.
Develop cellular or immune therapies, small-molecule therapeutics, or other innovative treatment strategies grounded in rigorous mechanistic studies of brain tumor biology.
Bridge discovery, preclinical modeling, and therapeutic development, with collaboration across Cincinnati Children’s and the University of Cincinnati.
