Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time care partner to assist with patient care and maintain a safe, healing environment under a licensed nurse. This role offers evening coverage with two 6-hour shifts per week and rotating days.

Your Schedule:

• Part-Time - two 6-hour shifts per week
• Hours: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Shifts rotate throughout the week
• Note: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs.
• All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.

What You Need to Qualify:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following:

• Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or
• Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
