Transition Specialist (Packer, Sorter, Organizer)

Caring Transitions helps seniors and families with downsizing, relocation, estate sales, and home cleanouts. Our mission is to make life transitions easier, less stressful, and more organized for our clients.

Job Description

In this role, you are part of a customer‑service team serving clients in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Indian Land, Tega Cay, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include packing, unpacking, sorting, organizing, photographing items for online auctions, boxing items for pickup or shipping, and related tasks. The position is part‑time and flexible, typically from 9 am – 3:30 pm (Mon‑Fri) with project‑based irregular intervals.

Work is not a moving role; you will not lift or move furniture or items over 25 lb.

Responsibilities
  • Help clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate household items.
  • Organize, sort, and pack/unpack items in homes and senior‑living communities.
  • Research, photograph, and describe items for online auctions and in‑person estate sales.
  • Assist customers during auction pickup days and estate sales.
  • Sort items for donation, recycling, or disposal as needed.
  • Follow company standards for safety, professionalism, and client care.
Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lb.
  • Must pass a background check prior to employment.
  • Local candidates only.
