Job summary

Trinity Metro in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a C Rate Technician for the Van Shop. The role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on transit buses, trucks, automobiles and related equipment, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• One to two years experience servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles, transit buses, heavy equipment, or related equipment.
• Texas Class B CDL driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Repairs transit buses, trucks, automobiles and related equipment.
• Lubricates and services all transit vehicles and equipment; uses steam machine to clean engine compartment.
• Inspects, troubleshoots, adjusts and repairs lighting, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning components and other systems on transit vehicles.
• Replaces water pumps, generators, switches, tires, air system components; changes oil and fluids.
