UVA Health in Virginia is hiring for transit bus operations staff to manage day-to-day transportation services, shuttles, parking facilities, and vehicle maintenance to keep UVA environments safe and accessible.

Qualified candidates must have a Virginia CDL Type A or B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements or the ability to obtain within 45 days, plus a positive driving record and at least 8 months of prior work experience; pay ranges hourly from 17.50 to 29.55.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 8 months of prior work experience. Experience gained during part-time work as a student may be considered.
• CDL Type A or B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements or ability to obtain within the first 45 days of hire; must have a positive point balance via a good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations, including shuttles, parking facilities, and vehicle maintenance.
• Enforce parking rules and issue parking permits; manage transportation fleet.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transportation for students, staff, and visitors.
• Support UVA environments to be welcoming and functional.
