Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Washington. The role includes patrolling, public interactions, incident reporting, and ensuring safety for staff and visitors. A mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of security or military experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit.
• Engage in high volume face-to-face public interactions.
• Write detailed and accurate reports on incidents.
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity.
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors.
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations.
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care.
