Job summary

The internship runs mid-May through mid-August, with mentorship and guidance aimed at converting interns to full-time roles and developing skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bentley Rail Track.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Interest in transit and railway engineering through internship or coursework.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on real-world railway and transit projects, assisting in design and development.
• Assist in understanding project requirements and proposing innovative solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations for railway and transit system design and analysis.
• Assist in designing railway system layouts and coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• Participate in field surveys and contribute to project documentation, including technical drawings and reports.
