Job summary

MV Transportation seeks a Mechanic to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of transit vehicles supporting safe, reliable community transportation. This role handles preventive maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, brake, and HVAC issues, and completes DOT-compliant inspections and documentation.

Working in a safety-focused, team-oriented shop, the Mechanic helps ensure vehicles are road-ready, responds to breakdowns, and supports continuous improvement in fleet

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake and HVAC issues.
• Familiarity with DOT inspection standards and documentation.
