Qualifications

Successful completion of the FE exam within six months of hire.
2 years of related experience as an Engineer for the Traffic Engineer role.
4 years of related experience as an Engineer for the Senior Engineer role.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of transit infrastructure projects.
Review engineering designs for consistency with Metro Transit’s goals.
Support analysis of transit delays and develop engineering-based solutions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for project delivery.
Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying potential issues.
Conduct field evaluations and inspections for compliance with design specifications.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to assist management.
Support RFP development and consultant oversight.
