The Boring Company in Las Vegas is seeking a Loop Operator to monitor and direct the flow of vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency for thousands of passengers per hour. You will be at the heart of mission control for the Vegas Loop and work cross-functionally to improve processes as our system expands.

The ideal candidate excels under pressure, communicates effectively, and is ready to take on diverse responsibilities across operations, dispatch, and project work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid United States Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated drug screening.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work proactively and independently.
• High adaptability and willingness to take on different responsibilities based on company needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Operations: Oversee vehicles, drivers, and loading stations to ensure maximum safety, security, and efficiency.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate swift, decisive emergency response actions in the event of an incident.
• Dispatching: Dispatch drivers dynamically to ensure a seamless, world-class experience for our guests.
• Driver Coordination: Manage driver breaks and lunches to maintain customer experience while strictly adhering to driver work-hour limitations.
• Special Projects: Collaborate on a variety of cross-functional projects as the transit system expands.
