Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is hiring Bus Tire Service Technicians to keep our city’s transit fleet moving safely and efficiently. This on-site, full-time role focuses on hands-on tire work for large transit buses.

You will mount, balance, rotate and repair tires, maintain equipment, and document service logs while following safety protocols. Training and growth opportunities with TIA certifications are available.

Qualifications

• Mount, balance, rotate and repair large transit bus tires.
• Load and unload tires and related materials.
• Maintain tire equipment and tools.
• Complete documentation and service logs accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• TIA Level 2 within 2 weeks of hire; Level 3 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires.
• Maintain tire equipment and tools.
• Load and unload tires and related materials.
• Keep the work area clean and hazard-free; safety first.
• Complete documentation and service logs accurately.
• Participate in team meetings and stay updated on procedures.
• Use PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Tackle other tasks as needed.
