Etched is seeking an ASIC Software Engineer to work on Sohu, a transformer-specific ASIC. This role involves owning the accelerator software, collaborating on architecture and managing the software that interacts with and powers it. You will contribute across multiple domains in a fully in-person team in San Jose, emphasizing on firmware, platform software, and kernel drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience shipping and testing software on production products.
• Familiarity with embedded architectures like ARM and PCIe.

Responsibilities

• Own the accelerator software for Sohu, the first transformer-specific ASIC.
• Work across ASIC firmware, microcontroller firmware, and host-side kernel and drivers.
• Collaborate closely with the hardware team.
