• Educate patients/residents and families about communication disorders.
• Interact regularly with rehabilitation team and nursing staff regarding treatment plans.
• Develop home and community programming to enhance patient performance.
• Terminate service when benefit has been achieved.
• Maintain rapport with nursing and administrative personnel.
• Assure timely completion of all required documentation.
• Comply with agency standards and evaluation compliance.
• Submit logs and billing information promptly.
• Report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adhere to state licensing and labor board guidelines.
