Educate patients/residents and families about communication disorders.
Interact regularly with rehabilitation team and nursing staff regarding treatment plans.
Develop home and community programming to enhance patient performance.
Terminate service when benefit has been achieved.
Maintain rapport with nursing and administrative personnel.
Assure timely completion of all required documentation.
Comply with agency standards and evaluation compliance.
Submit logs and billing information promptly.
Report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Adhere to state licensing and labor board guidelines.
