You will implement instructional strategies aligned with IEP goals for students in self-contained settings, diagnose progress, monitor progress, and collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure compliant and effective services.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Special Education with proper endorsement, and preferably a Master’s degree and prior experience in special education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required.
• Endorsement in Special Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional strategies aligned with IEP goals for self-contained classes.
• Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Plan a program of study to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with laws and policies.
• Collaborate with teachers and content leads on IEP execution.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
