Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in an outpatient surgery center setting. The RN remains accountable for all licensed practice and delivers care with a patient-centered focus.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC
• Certification in area of specialty (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides transformational leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
• Promotes patient safety initiatives and quality improvement.
• Assesses patient condition, documents changes and communicates with physicians.
• Supervises delegated LPN scope of practice as appropriate.
