Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an ERP Senior Associate to perform advisory and implementation services for Oracle Practice across client organizations. From day one, you’ll be empowered by the Transformation team to help clients move toward their vision while developing your own career.

Your day-to-day includes lifecycle implementations, documenting requirements, configuring applications, creating training materials, and providing post-production support. Occasional travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, SCM, Information Technology, MIS or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
  • Experience with a full life cycle implementation of Oracle ERP or similar applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics, and reports.
  • Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle ERP Applications.
  • Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects.
  • Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
  • Ability to travel to various client sites as needed on short notice.
  • Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 40%.

  • Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases
  • Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals
  • Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
  • Help to create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption
  • Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment
  • Provide post-production support
  • Assist with full life cycle implementations
  • Assist teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
  • Other duties as assigned
