Job summary

Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is seeking a Night Transfer Driver for our Cleveland/Bedford Branch. This shift runs Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM with no weekend work.

You will drive a box truck, load and secure materials, and move goods between branches while following safety procedures. The role requires a valid driver's license and demonstrated MVR acceptable to the company. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour plus shift differential and quarterly bonuses for accuracy, safety and

Qualifications

• Previous box truck driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• MVR to company standard.
• Tow motor experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck safely and professionally.
• Build and secure loads using proper procedures.
• Operate tow motor and manual lifting when loading/unloading.
• Locate materials on dock and transfer using pallet jack or tow motor.
• Strap, brace, or pad items to prevent shifting or damage.
• Drive between branches and contact supervisor with questions.
• Unload materials to designated locations and process returns.
• Ensure paperwork accompanies items for returns.
• Pull pipes in yards or buildings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Always performs job safely. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Correct fueling and vehicle condition
• Driving truck in a safe and professional manner
• Using correct load building / securing procedures.
• Using correct tow motor and manual lifting procedures when loading and unloading trucks
• Locate material on dock. Use pallet jack or tow motor for transfers
• Straps, braces or pads items to prevent shifting or damage
• Drives from branch to specified branches. Contacts supervisor by phone if there are any questions
• Unloads material and puts in designated location, collects return transfers
• Unloads returned material and puts appropriate paperwork with the items
• Pulling pipe in pipe yard or building
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
