Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Transfer Driver in Baltimore, MD to transport equipment to and from repair shops and centers, while performing visual inspections and maintaining driver logs. This role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and safe vehicle handling.

Eligible applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable using mobile transfer programs. A $100 hiring bonus is offered, along with wellness benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to use mobile transfer programs.
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
