Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Transfer Driver in the Washington, DC area to transport equipment between centers and repair shops, performing visual inspections and maintaining driver logs. The role emphasizes punctuality, safety, and customer care as part of our nationwide network.

You'll use mobile transfer tools, complete electronic paperwork, and may qualify for training and bonus programs. A valid driver's license and 18+ are required; DOT certification eligibility offered by U-Haul.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18+ years old.
• Ability to use mobile transfer programs on a company device.
• DOT certification may be sponsored by U-Haul if required.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Assist in additional areas per supervisor’s directives.
