Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support critical financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounting control functions. This role is responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts, preparing financial statements and management reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The position will also develop and enhance automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance. In addition, this individual will prepare regulatory reporting, respond to accounting inquiries, and serve as a key resource for management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities regarding accounting policies, procedures, and financial matters.

Job Description

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Four or more years of experience in financial accounting activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • CPA or CMA preferred

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00
