Job summary

Wacac in Seattle is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to advance undergraduate enrollment. You will travel regionally, present at events, and guide prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic opportunities and campus programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus partners to meet enrollment goals, promote access and inclusion, and provide thoughtful recommendations. Evening/weekend work and 10–12 weeks of travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to meet undergraduate enrollment goals and promote access and inclusion.
• Travel approximately 10–12 weeks in-state and out-of-state, with most travel in the Puget Sound region.

Position Description:

• Recruitment Management – 45%
  Provide information about the University’s academic opportunities to prospective students, families, counselors, advisors, and other stakeholders through presentations, emails, calls, and one on one conversation.
  Plan, develop, and implement on and off campus recruitment travel and activities.
  Meet with prospective students, including adult learners and traditional aged college students, through various channels, including community college visits, community college fairs, campus appointments, information sessions, and workshops.
  Collaborate with campus stakeholders to meet undergraduate enrollment goals.
  Engage in efforts to make higher education more accessible, equitable, and inclusive; participate in working groups to embed these efforts in job responsibilities.
  Approximately 10 to 12 weeks of in state and out of state travel. Most travel is in the greater Puget Sound Region.
  
• Application Review and Recommendations – 25%
  Review, evaluate, and provide initial undergraduate admission recommendations based on university criteria and artistic standards (where applicable)
  
• Event Attendance – 15%
  Support and actively participate in programs and events engaging prospective First Year, Transfer, Post Baccalaureate, and Pre College students, their families, community organizations, college counselors, and advisors.
  Attend major admission events such as preview days and admitted student days.
  Evening and weekend work required, especially in fall and spring.
  
• Other Duties – 15%
  Manage and work on assigned project areas throughout the year.
