Job summary

Access-HR, Inc. seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in transactions to support our Real Estate and Land Use practice groups. The ideal candidate will manage commercial and residential real estate development, entitlements, and complex transactions through all project stages.

Requirements include a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, 3 years of relevant real estate experience, and Virginia Bar in good standing. The role may involve remote work with a 9:00 am–5:30 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• 3 years of experience in real estate transactions, commercial development, or land use law.
• Active Virginia State Bar in good standing; additional bars a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and interpret purchase and sale contracts, leases, development agreements, and related loan documents.
• Represent clients in land use approvals, zoning verifications, and permitting processes.
• Oversee due diligence reviews, including title examination and proffer analysis.
• Draft and interpret HOA/POA documents for various property types.
• Advise clients on emerging real estate and business issues, including specialized asset classes.
