Job summary

BCG Attorney Search represents a Providence law firm seeking a Tax Associate in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience handling complex federal transactional tax matters, including entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.

You will advise clients on federal tax issues, assist with formations and transactions, and provide guidance on state and local taxes such as income, franchise, sales, and use tax.

Qualifications

• Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one.
• JD degree required.
• Experience with nonprofit and for-profit clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on federal transactional tax matters.
• Assist with business entity formations, mergers, and acquisitions.
