Akerman LLP is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney for national matters from its Florida offices, with preference for Orlando or Tampa. The role focuses on transactional real estate work for homebuilders, developers, and commercial clients, across multi-state matters.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of transactional real estate experience, strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, and proven ability to review title and survey, manage contracts, and close matters in a
Real Estate Attorney with at least four (4) years of transactional real estate experience representing homebuilders, master-planned community developers, multifamily and mixed-use developers, commercial property owners, and other sophisticated real estate clients, to join a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff working on national client matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in contract negotiation and drafting, title and survey review, contract administration, and closing matters. Further, the candidate should enjoy working in a team environment, and have strong organization and communication skills. This is a non-partnership track position that may be full-time or part-time (hourly), with the opportunity for advancement based on performance. The position may be based in any of the Firm's Florida, Atlanta, or Charlotte offices; however, Orlando or Tampa is preferred. Candidates must possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida or North Carolina, depending on office location.
