Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
  • At least two years of commercial real estate and corporate law experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review title examinations to identify defects.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, deeds, easements, options, and closing documents.
  • Draft and approve title endorsements.
  • Engage in due diligence related to real estate transactions.
  • Manage deals from agreement to closing, including tracking critical dates and preparing closing documents.
  • Draft and review complex operating agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents.
  • Draft and negotiate various business transactions, including corporate, LLC, and partnership formations.

Job Overview
