Weaver seeks a Transaction Tax Senior Associate to join our growing team. The Transaction Tax Advisory team at Weaver helps private equity, strategic and founder-owned clients identify potential tax exposures and understand key tax considerations through the entire transaction process. A Transaction Tax Senior Associate will work efficiently to obtain technical tax knowledge to assist clients in a variety of M&A transactions, conducting research on applicable laws and writing memorandums in an easy-to-understand format. The candidate will be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is transaction-focused, the candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and understand that the busy season for transaction-related work often differs from a typical tax busy season.
