Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (Newport News Shipbuilding) seeks a Training Rep responsible for designing and delivering training programs across levels of personnel. You will develop tests, visual aids, and courses, and evaluate training effectiveness, staying current with learning theory and new materials.

Some vendor oversight and e-learning development may be required. The role is full-time, on-site in Newport News, VA, with 10%-25% travel, and salaries ranging from $63,000 to $80,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with relevant exempt experience.
• Equivalent combinations may satisfy minimum qualifications as listed.
• Experience with shipbuilding-related training programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers training programs for all levels of personnel.
• Develops tests and visual aids, conducts classes, evaluates effectiveness.
• Keeps abreast of training theory and new materials and techniques.
• May oversee contractors or vendors to develop training programs and e-learning.
