A high school diploma or its equivalent and five (5) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in training, education, staff development, personnel or an agency program area; or
A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of professional experience in training, education, staff development, personnel or an agency program area; or
A master's degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

Assists in planning and implementing seminars and workshops to be included in the training programs in the theory and practical application of a variety of treatment and services modalities. Prepares lesson plans, program guides and evaluation tools.
Conducts formal in-person and virtual classroom instruction, seminars, workshops and training courses as facilitator and/or trainer. This may include planning, logistics, set-up, etc.
Assists in conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, surveys, competency assessments and performance assessments. Analyzes data from assessments to provide information and/or recommendations.
Acts as back-up for employee enrollments and troubleshooting calls with the department Learning Management System.
Creates training support materials and activities based on research and industry trends which include, but are not limited to, certificates, flyers, folders, presentations, online course content, booklets. Conducts necessary research in association with the creation and procurement of training materials. Distributes materials and manages subsequent communication.
Participates in staff conferences and curricula development to develop and improve training programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
