Job description

Red River Technology is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Trainer to join our team in supporting a mission‑critical program for the Navy. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of a crucial initiative that directly enhances national operational readiness across the entire US Naval Fleet.

As the Trainer you will evaluate current and future training needs and practices, develop and deliver training plans, and report the results and make recommendations for improvement. You will also administer the “train the trainer” program to expand the customer’s internal training team and enable the customer to deploy training internally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the training and educational programs for the Internal Program Team and for the Department of Defense customer organization
  • Conduct surveys and interviews to identify training needs, and create training strategies, initiatives, and material to meet needs
  • Analyze, identify, and administer the most effective training medium and methods for specific individuals, groups, and topics
  • Stay abreast of evolving training methodologies
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of contracting third party vendors to deliver training and coordinate with third party vendors when utilized
  • Coordinate, monitor, and report enrollment
  • Analyze training program effectiveness and submit reports and recommendations to Program leaders
  • Administer and report on the train the trainer program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field or applicable work experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Certification from talent and training associations
  • Six years of experience as a Training Manager, preferably in the government sector
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
  • Train the trainer experience – experience in teaching colleagues on how to train others – Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Associate Professional in Talent Development/Management
Basic Qualifications
